Workout Log #1

I've been planning on making a daily log of what I ate and what exercise I did. I discovered that one of the obstacles to this endeavor is the fact that it's so bleepin hard to keep track of what you ate!

But at any rate, we'll never know until we give it a shot, so I'm going to start with a rather non-flattering recount of yesterday.

Here's a list of what I ate throughout the day:

  • one bowl of oatmeal
  • 3 cups of rice
  • 2 saucers of adobo (chicken and pork)
  • 1 saucer of tokwa't baboy
  • 2 tall tumblers of coffee
  • 4 bottles of Red Horse
  • 1 chicken wing, fried
  • 1 small side of fries
  • 1 bag Oishii Caramel Popcorn
  • 3 Duo sandwiches

All in all, it wouldn't have been so bad if it weren't for the beers and the Duo sandwiches.

Here's the kicker:

  • no exercise whatsoever!

Hoo boy. Got my work cut out for me!

  1. Good luck! The first step is always the hardest, so they say. Putting it out in public should put you in check, consider me one of the fairies sitting on your shoulder ;)

Maynilad Water Chronicles: The Clusterf$%#, Part 2

This is the third post in our Maynilad Water chronicles. This time, we will talk about just how inept their record keeping skills are in the face of a massive overhaul in a given area. This involves a technique used by Meralco in high-risk areas called clustering, and is efficient – if utilized correctly. Needless to say, Maynilad has yet to be able to do this.

Maynilad Water Chronicles: The Curious Case of the Disappearing Meter

One of the biggest problems I’ve encountered these past few weeks is the inexplicable inefficiency of Maynilad Water. I don’t even know where to begin; this is how impossible the situation is. So I’ll go and separate things into multiple stories. This is the first case in this series.
